RSL — traced resale

Sell with the proof

Certified material does not sell like ordinary material: it sells with its proof file — origin, genealogy, controls. That file has value, and that value is shared.

Diagram of the RSL journey: seller batch traced, verified, then bought with its proof file
A batch travels with its proof file all the way to the buyer.

The mechanism, in three steps

01
The batch is traced
Every certified batch carries its full genealogy — collection, processing, quality controls — signed and timestamped.
02
It is listed with its proof file
The listing comes with the full traceability certificate, viewable by the buyer before purchase.
03
The buyer pays for the material AND the compliance
The price captures the value of the proof — not just the value of the raw material.

+15–30%
Premium observed on the certified PCR market, over virgin plastic.
Market data

TakaCircular does not set this premium — the proof makes it visible and verifiable at the point of sale.

In pilot validation

In pilot validation — the RSL commission is activated only once the premium is demonstrated in real conditions, not before.

The model: a seller-side commission In pilot validation

Seller-side commission on certified material resold through the RSL, charged only on a concluded sale.

1,5–3 %
seller side
Illustrative example — not a commitment

For a sense of scale, on one tonne of certified material:

Market price of the material (indicative)$1,000/t
Observed premium (illustrative, +20% within the 15–30% range)+$200/t
RSL commission (illustrative, 2% within the 1.5–3% range)$20/t

Illustrative figures, outside real market conditions — no commitment on price, premium or commission.
